PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises
The PMFME scheme offers 35% credit-linked capital subsidy up to ₹10 Lakhs for modernizing micro food processing units, bakeries, spice mills, oil presses, pickle manufacturing, and cold chain setups.
Scheme Architecture & Lending Details
Launched under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), PMFME aims to enhance the competitiveness of individual micro-enterprises in the unorganized food processing sector.
The scheme operates on the "One District One Product" (ODOP) approach, supporting raw material procurement, food safety certifications, automated packaging, and common processing facilities.
